HOW DOES IT WORK?
I had two goals when creating “Hollywood Dreams”; have the end product look as great as the work coming from my favorite big-time colorists, and create a system that is capable of many different color styles.
This powergrade is based off of the legendary Kodak 2383 film stock. But also allows you to tweak many different parts of the image. Such as: highlight rolloff, glow, film tint, fade, film gate, white point, and more.
CAMERA COMPATABILITY
Resolve’s color space transform (CST) is in the beginning of the node tree. This converts all cameras to a cineon film log and makes for consistent colorgrading across all camera systems. Shooting in a flat LOG profile is recommended.
